Stock Polska is one of the leading producers of pure vodka and flavored spirits, the second-largest alcohol producer in Poland. The company’s history dates back to 1906 when Emil Plage, a renowned industrialist and visionary from Lublin, decided to establish the first distillery in his hometown. This marked the beginning of Polmos Lublin, now known as Stock Polska. The company is an important part of the international Stock Spirits Group.

What did the client expect?
The client wanted to assess whether the selected companies respond effectively to crisis situations. To do this, they sought an experienced partner to prepare critical event simulation scenarios and conduct workshops on business continuity. The goal was to efficiently verify internal rules and procedures across 4 companies within the Stock Spirits Group, namely:
- Stock Plzen-Bozkov s.r.o. (Czech Republic)
- Stock srl (Italy)
- Baltic Distillery GmbH (Germany)
- Stock Polska sp. z o.o. (Poland)
Due to our communication skills, availability, and especially our experience in international projects, Stock Polska chose PBSG.
What did we do?
WE PREPARED TEST SCENARIOS
We prepared tests for the continuity plans of the Stock companies in 4 locations. These included various emergency situations, such as resource unavailability, allowing us to assess the client’s readiness for such occurrences.
WE CONDUCTED STAFF WORKSHOPS
Due to the fact that the project covered different locations, the workshops were conducted remotely. As a result, employees involved in business continuity were carefully and diligently prepared for crisis management.
WE PREPARED A REPORT
At the end, we delivered a report summarizing the conducted tests along with recommendations on processes that could be improved. It included an assessment of the client’s readiness for potential crisis situations.
What were the results?
Thanks to the initial discussions with the client and a thorough understanding of their internal procedures, we were able to prepare reliable and relevant business continuity tests. Our priority was to thoroughly assess the client’s preparedness for emergency situations and provide recommendations for potential improvements to their business continuity plans. Stock Polska sp. z o.o. successfully passed the tests in all the indicated locations, i.e., in the Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, and Poland.
It is worth mentioning that this evaluation was influenced not only by the carefully prepared critical event simulation scenarios by PBSG but also by the engagement of the client’s crisis management team – such collaboration could only lead to a positive result.
