What did the client expect?
The client was looking for a partner to manage the business continuity area and implement the guidelines of the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (KNF). They expected expert and technical support in this area, which is why the project also included employee training. The choice fell on PBSG. Our advantage was due to, among other factors, our extensive experience in implementing business continuity systems and plans (supported by numerous positive references) and an attractive pricing offer.
The project was completed in 2023.
What did we do?
WE ASSESSED THE CURRENT SITUATION
First, we examined the BCM solutions implemented within the organization in terms of the M recommendations and requirements of the Financial Supervision Commission. This allowed us to propose recommendations for the necessary changes.
WE CONDUCTED A BIA
We developed the methodology for the BIA analysis with descriptions of the business continuity processes. We then proceeded with the analysis of business processes and IT systems, along with a risk assessment. Finally, we prepared a summary report.
WE IMPLEMENTED THE DOCUMENTATION
In the third phase, we developed business continuity management (BCM) policies. Together with the client, we prepared BCM plans, incorporating emergency procedures.
WE CONDUCTED BCP TESTS AND TRAINING
We prepared an implementation guide and conducted training sessions for employees. Finally, we carried out tests of the selected action plan.
What were the results?
The task involved developing and implementing Business Continuity Plans (BCP) in accordance with the recommendations of the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (KNF). We successfully completed the project, as evidenced by positive references. The client appreciated our flexibility and commitment, which ensured the project ran smoothly without disrupting the organization’s daily operations.
The collaboration between VB Leasing and PBSG enabled the company to prepare for crisis situations and minimize the risk of disruptions. The implemented action plan ensures uninterrupted operation at the necessary minimum level in case of unforeseen negative events. The adopted procedures provide the ability to restore the company’s operational capacity within a defined time frame and at an agreed level.
