PBSG SA supported UKNF in obtaining the compliance certificate for the Business Continuity Management System
The Polish Financial Supervision Authority (UKNF) received the ISO 22301:2019 compliance certificate for its Business Continuity Management System (BCMS). PBSG SA played a key role in supporting UKNF during the implementation of the BCM system and in preparing for the certification process.
In November 2023, UKNF announced the successful completion of the certification process, conducted by the independent international body BSI Group. This certification confirms that UKNF’s BCMS complies with the ISO 22301:2019 standard for overseeing the financial market, including banking, insurance, and capital markets sectors. The certification ensures that UKNF can maintain its operations efficiently during crisis situations, which is crucial for the entities under its supervision.
The ISO 22301 certificate validates that UKNF has adopted measures to improve its resilience to threats, ensuring a swift recovery and minimal disruption in case of a crisis. This is particularly important for the financial entities it oversees.
Since our company was responsible for supporting UKNF in the implementation of business continuity, this positive outcome is not only a success for UKNF but also for us.

The cooperation with UKNF has been ongoing since April 2022. Currently, our task is to assist in maintaining and improving the Business Continuity Management System in compliance with the ISO 22301 standard.
