What did the client expect?

The task involved the implementation of Business Continuity Plans (BCP). For Aluplast, it was crucial not only to increase resilience to threats but also to enable faster and more efficient production recovery in the event of incidents. Therefore, they sought a partner with experience in the manufacturing industry. They also valued a personalized offer tailored to the specific needs and scale of Aluplast’s operations. Our well-crafted proposal, professionalism, and extensive portfolio with similar projects proved that we are experts in the area of business continuity management.

The project was conducted using a hybrid approach (remotely and on-site). We divided it into two key stages.

What did we do?

WE CONDUCTED A BIA ANALYSIS AND RISK ASSESSMENT

We developed the methodology and created the necessary forms for BIA analysis along with descriptions of business continuity processes. We conducted group workshops with representatives of organizational units (processes) in the company, during which we determined, among other things, the parameters and indicators of MBCO, MTPD, and RTO. We prepared a report in which we summarized the results of the BIA and risk analysis, and identified the criticality of business processes along with the indicators that describe them. It also included a description of the business continuity strategy.

WE PREPARED THE DOCUMENTATION

We created a business continuity management policy – a key document describing the principles of the BCM system. During workshop meetings, together with the client, we developed business continuity plans based on the results of the BIA analysis, along with emergency procedures. The prepared response plans took into account various situations to both ensure effective protection against the loss of data, equipment, or even employees, and enable the restoration of the company’s capacity to operate within a specified time and level.

What were the results?

An effective BCM (Business Continuity Management) system has many advantages. The most important one is preparing the company for crisis situations, which in turn increases its resilience to various threats. Thanks to the cooperation with PBSG, Aluplast gained the ability to restore production operations faster and more efficiently after unfavorable events. The implemented procedures and emergency plans minimize the impact on production processes from threats such as equipment failures, natural disasters, human errors, or cyberattacks.

Ensuring production continuity is of huge importance for manufacturing companies. Otherwise, delays in deliveries and financial losses can occur, which have further consequences. One of the key consequences is the loss of reputation, and as a result – customers. The prepared continuity plans help maintain production capabilities and minimize delays, which affects customer trust and the positive image of the company.
